Bathroom in a Log House

In this photo you can see a few details of this log house that I’m proud of. The chinking between the logs is a concrete mix set on metal lathe using pure white sand. Very durable and bright.

The small detail tile floor actually is set over an in floor heating heating system that was routed into the top side of the upper floor of this old house. It was quite a huge undertaking routing an entire floor throughout several rooms to sink in the tubes that in floor heating runs on.

Also visible here is the large scale and entirely custom window treatments that were required to accommodate the irregular walls that the logs and chinking create.
