Pharmasave was the first storefront in Minden that we renovated in 2006. The demands of the client were to create a period specific design that didn’t prevent access to the modern curtain wall glass system that fronts the retail area of this store. The approach that followed was to create a segmented store front that could be removed and re-installed in the event of broken windows. Interestingly prior to this renovation broken glass was a recurring theme on Minden main street  and that concern lead to this approach. Since this upgrade a number of other stores followed, two of which were undertaken by Gary. The broken window issues have subsided and Pharmasave hasn’t to our knowledge needed to use the option we designed into this renovation. That is the kind of problem solving you can expect from this deliberately small but flexible carpentry service.
